Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World used a Fender TC-90 Telecaster and Fender took the opportunity to released a signature ,model called the JA-90 Telecaster. Release in Natural, Ebony Transparent and Crimson Red Transparent finishes. Unusually for a Fender guitar the scale length is only 24.75 inches as opposed to the usual 25.5 inches. Fender craftsmen sat down with Adkins and went over his old Fender TC-90 spec by spec, making several important changes that subsequently produced this unique model. Features include a maple neck set into a semi-hollow ash body, Seymour Duncan® soap-bar pickups, independent volume and tone controls, Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and anchored tailpiece.
