A review and demo of Fender’s 2014 Limited Edition Reclaimed Eastern Pine Telecaster. Introduced in May 2014 January 2010 and Made in America.
Fender’s Special Edition Reclaimed Eastern Pine Telecaster has a distinctively rustic look and elegant charm, with a body fashioned from reclaimed pine originally used in 1868 in the construction of a dairy barn in the small rural community of Lake Odessa, Michigan, USA. The knots, gashes, dings and other anomalies in the wood are left intact and unconcealed, so that no two guitars in this limited-number issue are identical. Further emphasizing the guitar’s one-of-a-kind appearance are a dark satin lacquer stain that accentuates the beauty of the body wood, hardware specially treated to appear slightly worn, and a rosewood neck with a hand-rubbed oil finish and comfortable “modern C”-shaped profile. Other features include 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, Texas Special™ single-coil (neck) and Fender Custom Shop single-coil Broadcaster (bridge) pickups, special four-way switching (including both pickups in series), Master volume and “no-load” master tone controls, “unbuffed” single-ply black pickguard, American Standard string-through-body bridge with six bent-steel saddles and “Fender”-stamped chromed brass plate, Micro-Tilt™ neck adjustment, Laser-etched headstock logo, Hard-shell case, Strap, Cable, Polishing cloth. A very Limited Edition Telecaster. Fender UK have informed me that only 70 were made worldwide with 30 crossing the pond to Europe with no more than 7 Telecasters coming into the UK. No two guitars are the same. Guitars in the Classic player series provide a distinctive new take on some of Fender's iconic models, combining classic design elements with modern improvements and new hardware. This Fender Triple Tele has been designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Todd Krause as a high performance Modern beauty with classic styling.
The distinctive modern tone of the Classic Player Triple Tele comes from its 3 slanted Custom Shop Nocaster single coil bridge pickups lined up for a completely unique tone profile. A five position tone switch offers a range of spine tingling electric tones that are bright, tangy and articulate. Style-wise its business standard for a Tele. The light one-piece maple neck and fretboard contrasts nicely with the all black body that's accented nicely with the metal bridge and controls. The Thin C shaped modern design of the neck profile is comfortable right across the frets. Undeniably a pure class Tele, Fender have managed to come up with something that's unique, new and different without sacrificing its iconic features. The Triple Tele is a great choice for anyone looking for something a little different. A review & demo of a 2008 Fender Lite Ash Telecaster.
The Fender Lite Ash Telecaster 6-String Electric Guitar, features an ash body, birdseye maple fingerboard, black pickguard with Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro 2 pickups.. The Fender Lite Ash Telecaster guitar is so simple, yet incredibly versatile! Since the introduction of the original Tele in the early ’50s, guitarists in all musical genres have relied on the Fender Telecaster guitar for its powerful tone and smooth playability. One of the longest-running production models in Fender’s history, the Telecaster guitar has been modified only slightly in its more than 50 legendary years, with its great strength inherent in its classic simplicity. The Lite Ash Telecaster guitar was something new from Fender, when it was produced in 2004 through 2008. Ash is a desirable body wood because of its tonal qualities, and with its birdseye maple neck and Seymour Duncan pickups, it gives Tele players just what they need to get the job done.
