A review & demo of a 2006 Fender Koa Telecaster. This Special Edition Koa Telecaster electric guitar combines vintage purity and a custom look.
The Koa top, with its beautiful grain visible through an antique burst finish, lends a look of understated elegance that is enhanced by a birdseye maple neck. Its other features are a mix of modern and vintage: modern C-shape neck profile, vintage-style 3-saddle bridge, Seymour Duncan pickups, oversized strap buttons, rosewood fretboard with medium jumbo frets and pearl dots, and a single-ply black pickguard. It's a Tele anyone can love: uptown yet true to its roots. Koa is only found in Hawaii.
