In July 2012, Fender releaed a limited run of guitars with a Paisley Finish.
The Factory FSR was limited to 50 pairs of Stratocasters and Telecasters in the UK. In the past Fender have released a Pink Paisley version that was made famous by the guitarist with Elvis Presley's backing group in the early 1970's, James Burton below. Fender updated the Pink Paisley Telecaster and it now features blue or red flames. There was also a limited edition Black and Gold version of James Burton's Telecaster with three poickups and gold hardware. When Fender launched the Pink Paisley Telecaster in the late psychedeilic 1960s at the height of flower power, they also released a Blue Flower Telecaster. Fender Japan also had three versions of the Flower Telecaster available.
