As part of Fender's 2011 celebration of the Telecaster, The Modern Thinline Telecaster was introduced in June 2011. A limited edition of only 500 guitars worldwide and only 42 in the UK.
Fender celebrated the 60th Anniversary of their first commercially produced guitar - The Fender Telecaster with a Limited Edition series of 12 Telecaster Telebration models available on a monthly release schedule during 2011/2012. Each Telebration model has its own unique indentifiable characteristics such as the Fender Modern Thinline Telecaster depicted here. This particular Fender Telecaster model is similar to the 90?s Tele Thinline, and is a thinline model with contemporary hardware and appointments. Finished in Olympic White, it features a double bound toiseshell pickguard, an American Std Maple 22 fret Neck with a 9.5" radius and Medium Jumbo frets. Sound comes courtesy of two American standard Telecaster single coil pickups, whilst the chambered body has been crafted using Alder and sports the traditional Thinline "f" sound hole.
