The FSR Highway One Telecaster was produced by Fender in 2009 as a limited edition in Butterscotch Blonde.
Fender limited this edition of the Highway One Telecaster to only 225 guitars that were for sale in Europe and Scandanavia, the guitars were built in the USA. It features an alder body, modern C-shaped maple neck with a maple fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets, two hot single-coil Telecaster pickups with alnico 3 magnets, Greasebucket™ tone circuit and satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Super-size frets, '70s styling, new alnico pickups and new colours take this amazing guitar to the next level. The new pickups on the Highway One Telecaster produce a more round sound with that great Fender sparkle; it also has great high-gain sounds. The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish lets the body wood's natural tone shine through, making for one of the most exciting new instruments in the Fender family. The guitar was originally manufactured in August 2009 and was bought by the previous owner from the Liverpool branch of Dawsons Music in December 2009 and since that day in the shop it had never been played through an amp!!! The updated Highway One's were introduced in 2006 and were discontinued in 2011. FSR - Factory Special Run |
