To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fender Telecaster, the company launched a series of 12 Telebration Telecasters at the Winter 2011 NAMM show.

Each of the 12 guitars would be produced in a limited run of 500 pieces with the exception of two that would be limited to 300 pieces.

First up in the monthly series was the Flame Top Telecaster.

What Fender says:

"This is an American Standard Telecaster in Antique Burst with gold  hardware and a flame top - elegant and classy! Flame maple cap over alder. American Standard pickups, lacquer finish, gold hardware, pearl tuner buttons."
