The Fender Frontline magazine was published from 1990 through to 2000 (issues 1-27). The Frontline then became more of an illustrated price list with the Frontline name until 2012.
The magazine was Fender's way of showcasing new products along with interviews and articles about the brand the the stars who played and used them. The magazine was basically in two sections the first half was the magazine with articeles and featues etc and the second half served as the product catalogue. As the magazine grew then so did the details of the guitars etc and more colour was added to the catalogue section.
The Frontline was eventually replaced by the content on the company's website and a fully fledged catalogue featuring the entire range of Fender products. In recent years the hard copy of the Frontline catalogue have been hard to find but they are available on the Fender website in pdf form.
Below are the covers of the Fender Frontlines and the more recent Illustrated price and product guides.
