In mid 2020 amidst the global Coronavirus Pandemic Fender Japan released a series of limited edition models, including this stunning Sherwood Green Metallic Super Deluxe Thinline Telecaster.

Over the years we have seen a variety of Super Deluxe Telecaster. Firstly in 2012 they were released as limited editions from Fender Japan in White with gold hardware and Black with chrome hardware finishes.

Then in 2018 as part of the Parallel Universe Series we saw a Orange finish on a made in the USA model.
