The Fender FSR Player Telecaster was released in 2011 and limited run for Guitar Center in the USA.

Available in both blizzard pearl (555) and sunburst (500) finishes the guitar was based on a Classic Player Series Telecaster and featured a 25db mid boost system that was connected to the tone control. The mid boost circuit is power by a 9 volt battery.

The guitars featured a C shape maple neck with maple fingerboards with 21 medium jumbo frets. Two vintage noiseless pickups and a 4 ply tortoise shell pickguard.

The guitars were limited to a 595 unit run. The sunburst finish featured an ash body and the blizzard pearl finish covered an alder body. ​Mine was sourced from Dave’s Guitar Shop in the USA.
