WHAT IS AN FSR GUITAR?
FSR stands for Factory Special Run. They can be limited editions of stock models or they can be a special run of a limited edition finish. Music retailers have the ability of ordering from Fender a certain number of pieces in a spec of their choosing. These were limited to 250 guitars but recently it has been reported that number has been dropped to 100, The retailer will sell them to the public with the exclusivity of it being limited production run. Below is a by no means copmplete list of FSR Telecasters but it will give you an idea of what models have been issued as FSR's or limited editions.
