The FSR hand stained American Standard was released in limited quantities in March 2012.
Only 250 Telecaster were released to the market, 125 being in the US with 75 heading for Europe and only 16 landing in the UK. The first 50 were signed by Jeff Allen, who at the times was the Production Manager at the Fender factory in Corona California. The Mahogany stain is hand applies before a thin satin laquer is added on top. The last of the Telecasters to be built without the new 2012 revamped contoured body.
