To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fender Telecaster, the company launched a series of 12 Telebration Telecasters at the Winter 2011 NAMM show.

Each of the 12 guitars would be produced in a limited run of 500 pieces with the exception of two that would be limited to 300 pieces.

the fifth guitar in the series was the '62 Telecaster.

What Fender says:

"An Olympic White '62 Custom with black binding, BWB pickguard, pearl block inlays on a rosewood fretboard. 7.25-inch radius, vintage frets, Gotoh vintage tuners, double bound (black),‘62 Vintage Tele pickups, lacquer finish."
